A cancer diagnosis can disrupt every aspect of life. It may bring fear, uncertainty, anger, grief, and questions about identity, meaning, and mortality. Even when treatment ends, the emotional impact often continues.
You may be:
Adjusting to a recent diagnosis
Navigating treatment decisions
Living with ongoing side effects
Processing trauma from medical experiences
Supporting a loved one with cancer
Struggling with anxiety about recurrence
You may also be experiencing difficult feelings such as guilt, anger, or resentment at your changing body or life, fear of being a burden, or envy of those who remain “healthy". Therapy offers a non-judgmental space to explore what this experience means for you. Together, we can make sense of the emotional impact, the changes to your body and relationships, and the existential questions that often emerge.
I draw on my experience in NHS Psycho-Oncology settings to support people at different stages of diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, or palliative care. Sessions are compassionate, thoughtful, and paced according to your needs.
